Academics
Programs and Process
First-Generation Collegians
First Generation Collegians (FGC) are supported by the Office of Student and Academic Support Services. First-generation students are students with parents who did not attend college. SASS engages first-generation college students and provides academic, social, and community support to all students throughout their experience at 佪圖APP.
Service Learning
Students are eligible to participate in community service programs as part of the 佪圖APP University community. Approved community service hours may be earned toward final recognition on the students academic transcript. Students wishing to participate in the community service program must register through Mane Connection and join Community Service Transcript Designation.
Stopping Out and Readmission
Students who opt to take a leave of absence from university enrollment are said to stop out. Any undergraduate student who has not been enrolled in 佪圖APP courses for more than two semesters and who wishes to resume coursework must be readmitted to the university by submitting a new application to the Office of University Admissions. Any undergraduate student who has not been enrolled in 佪圖APP courses for less than two semesters but has attended another institution during their absence must also be readmitted through the Office of University Admissions. Students who were suspended at the time of departure from the university must file an academic appeal. Review the Academic Appeal Requirement page on the university website for more information. Upon review of the new application, the admissions office will update the students profile in preparation for the students return to 佪圖APP. Students will return to the university under the new catalog of re-entry. Students will be directed to contact their advisors to enroll in classes once the readmit process has been approved.
